PS Postage

The size of the postage bill is always an issue when thinking about any mailing of any size. What we can do is help you to find the most cost effective solution for the amount of mail that you want to send.

Mailsort, first class, second class, flatsort, presstream, cleanmail, packetpost, there are all sorts of options. The deregulation of postal services has presented even more options to assess and choices to make.

Most postal discounts depend upon the quality of your data and the presentation of your mail. If there aren't enough good postcodes on your list then we can help to fill in the gaps. Address verification is an important part of what we do as we want to make sure that the savings you make from improving your database apply time and again.

We use a range of services that enable to access discounts for overseas mail in addition to those that apply for UK post. We also receive mail back from both the UK and overseas and can handle response fulfilment if that is part of your campaign.

To find the service that suits your mail best contact us, we'll take a look and will see what we can find.

CURRENT MAIL FORMATS

The way that our post is priced has changed significantly since Royal Mail introduced three main mail formats. Details are as follows:-

  • Letter - max 240mm x 165mm x 5mm max weight 100g

  • Large Letter - max 250mm x 353mm x 25mm max weight 750g

  • Packet - any item bigger than a large letter

Most letters, bills, statements, postcards and greetings cards will fall within the letter format as will some brochures and catalogues.

Letters containing unfolded A4 paper, most brochures, catalogues and company reports will be included under the large letter format.

Things like books and most things sent in postal tubes will be counted as packets.
